Overcoming Your Fear

This is a great blog post taken from the MLSP Blog which I found helpful, I hope you do to.
My Team Member Elliot Kosmicki has started a series of Interviews with Top Earners Online and asked me to join him for some Success Talk and Fun recently..
There’s so much to learn from people’s stories about how they came about to success so I wanted to share this with the MLSP community..
Elliott really got me to open up about what it was like when I was a single Mom working at the casino as a cocktail Server really struggling in my business fighting every last part of me that felt like giving up!
I remember the feelings of hopelessness and I also remember the determination that saw me through it!
Learn how I faced my FEAR and overcame all obstacles I was faced with by Watching This up Close and Personal Interview Below

Relentless rise in childhood obesity must be tackled - The Irish Times - Mon, Jan 20, 2014

It is a shocking admission: we stand to be the first generation who will bury our children. Many members of Irish families will die prematurely due to obesity. The problem is growing at an alarming rate, affecting children as young as two and three years of age.
A severely obese person is likely to die eight to 10 years earlier than a person of normal weight. According to Prof Ivan Perry of UCC, more than 1,000 people die each year from heart disease and strokes because of what and how they eat and because of lack of exercise. People in the developed world should not die because of bad nutrition. Obesity is a time bomb we can defuse.
In 2007, 37 per cent of Irish adults were overweight and a further 24 per cent obese. The rates of obesity and overweight have increased in the past 20 years and continue to grow. Up to 80,000 people in Ireland are now morbidly obese, according to consultant endocrinologist, Dr Francis Finucane, who specialises in treating obesity.

Annoying Wordpress Blogs... Losing focus and now getting back on track...

It has been a month of grief for me in August!  Having issues with my wordpress blog, however, all seems to have been resolved and am feeling back to normal.

It's funny how when things do not seem to go well, and demotivation sets in.
SO I thought I would write about how I got over this.

We can all get disheartened when things don't seem to be going away we want them to. Our mood changes, we snap at the people who are trying to help us, and we tend to back out and back away from the crowd.
It's all too easy to spiral downwards into a almost type of depression when you just don't Wanna do anything. Have you been there?

So, after feeling really fed up and demotivated I'm really wanted to get back into the blogosphere. I mustered up the effort to get in touch with my network provider and sort out the issue of whether it was my Internet or my blogging platform.

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised from both of the customer service was exceptional. They understand my plight and really wanted to help me get back on board especially when I sounded so down. As soon as my problem was resolved which took just over a week to do I was back on board marketing away and in a lot more happier mood.

However I was kind of stuck. I just didn't know what to write about. So I got back onto my learning path, started reading other peoples blogs, started looking at the news and what was happening around me.
Taking interest in your business and other peoples business and what they're finding difficult also help to give me information about what I could write about.

So now I'm back on board ready to fire up the Workfmhomdiva blog watch out for interesting posts  from me over the next few days, months etc...

Have you had an experience where you are completely demotivated? What did you do to get back on track share with us below

How To Avoid Roadblocks In Your Business

When you are bombarded with information, it not only confuses you, but drive you to the point where you tend not to do anything constructive at all. Bit like a traffic jam, things will start to back up in your business.

This can be to the detriment of your home business.  If you don't feel motivated, and you don't do anything constructive your business will suffer.

Here are some really quick and dirty tips to get you through those roadblocks.

1. Have an early night - It's no point working if you feel tired.  Sometimes it is best to just chill out, relax and come back another time when your mind has had downtime, and is fresh.  Most of the time if we have a problem, we solve this in our sleep.

2. Draw up a plan of daily action.  I normally do this the day before, so that I am more focussed, and can just start right on it the next day.  So, if you don't get something done one day, then just put it over for the next.  The crazy thing most people do is to put too much on their list and get frustrated that they never seem to get to the end of it.

3. DO things in small bite sized chunks.  Remember focus on the money making activities first, i.e. follow ups with prospects, online ads,  follow through new team members, or team webinars, then email to your list, before checking your emails, facebook, twitter or other social media.

4. Take notes when you train.  These are useful because you then have a book of subjects and ideas that you can take forward.  You should technically never run out of ideas.  With learning and applying your new found skills you can generate other ideas and develop your skills further. USe these as a learning vehicle and help others apply those skills through teaching, blogging, video.

5. Look back at past posts, can you 'freshen them up' add to them?  SOmetimes as you learn more, you can look back at previous posts and update them with the new found knowledge that you have learned.  You can even refer back to the original post so that users can see how you, yourself have improved and are still providing value to help them solve their issues.

6. Throw it out there!  SOmetimes the best thing to do if you are really stuck is to through out a lifeline to your social media colleagues.  Ask for suggestions or help.  You will be suprised as to what comes back.

SO there you have it, some useful tips to get you over your roadblocks.  If you found this useful, let me know and leave a comment below :)
