How Committed Are You To Succeeding In Your Business

I listened to a leadership call today by our founder Jay Kubassek and in it he talked about why only 3% of Business Owners and Internet Marketers succeed.  We all come into network marketing with the ultimate goal of making extra money to top up our current take home pay, some of us with the ultimate goal to 'sack the boss', and being able to work for ourselves.

What ever your reason is for being in the online marketing industry, how committed are you to succeeding?   Do you even look at your think about your reason why you ever came into business in the first place?  If your why or reason is not strong or passionate, and if your not hungry for that success then you are going to be in the 97% of  people who just trundle along in their home business, happy to earn a few hundred or thousand dollars on a weekly or monthly basis, always wondering why you are not earning 6 or 7 figure incomes like your upline.

Helping other people first and foremost will push your business to the next level, if you provide a service that is first class, have fun helping others and it does not feel like its a chore, then you are on your way.  Motivate, Provide a solution and the money will follow.

Helping others before we help ourselves i.e. not worrying about the month aspect, but more with supporting and motivating your clients so that they reach success is what will ultimately lead to your success.

The difference is putting yourself out to do what it takes and take that leap to stepping up and becoming a leader.

Are you Scared of Objections On The Phone?

Hey Networkers, today my blog is about talking to potential prospects. You see I have just had the exciting pleasure of going through the Black Belt Recruiting Course by Mike Dillard and this is great stuff...why didnt I find it sooner: )

So often when we get on the phone to our potential prospects some how or other our intended message seems to get 'lost in translation'. This is not about speaking different languages, well it is and it isn't. It is not about whether you speak English and your prospect speaking GREEK, it is about being on the same LEVEL and WAVE LENGTH.

It is about how well you can convey yourself to your prospect.  Do you let them take charge in the conversation? Or are you a leader and are able to pull the conversation back in your side of the court?  Being able to do the latter will bring you much more respect and qudos as being a leader.
Let's face it, people look to join leaders, and if you are just not seen to be cutting it as a leader, then you are going to travel a long up hill road to being successful in this industry.

So, what did I learn from the black belt recruiting course....there is an art to handling objections, there is a mindset that YOU as a leader needs to have, there are TIME MANAGEMENT rules and decisions you need to make- all to ensure you are not wasting your valuable commodity TIME....and more....

If you haven't heard of BlackBelt Recruiting then take a peak here.... there is a FREE one hour video giving away useful tips

The Means You Need to Succeed, by Dani Johnson

Dani has captured the attention of the world without being a notorious politician or attractive celebrity. Her fortune has come from her successful network marketing that began at a very young and despite being a simple person. As the founder-precent of Call to Freedom International, she is one of the best role models for aspiring network marketers, for identifying 4 effective business techniques for her huge clientele.

Professional Communication

Network marketing relies greatly on the impression you make on people, so your appearance, actions, and speech are important. What does it mean to be "professional"? Is it simply a matter of saying the correct thing at the correct time? Or is it more a matter of having a confident and perfected grasp of language? Dani emphasizes how critical it is to speak professionally in her training sessions.

Defeat can only lead to success if you learn and take action

Everyone suffers from defeat now and again, but it is what you do or think when you are defeated that makes the difference. There are those of us, who when defeated simply walk away and vow never to try that again, or become involved in such activities again. This is true of most network marketers or business owners who start out very positive wanting to achieve a dream to work for themselves, and when the going gets difficult, they simply give in too easily and walk away. Statistics have shown that 97% of New Businesses fail within their first 3 - 5 years of starting up.

Regardless of whether you have a business or not, where conditions arise which may lead to defeat, here are some worthwhile lessons we could all take away in how to make that defeat a victory and turn it around into something positive.

Knowing A Great Opportunity

Some people go through life missing out on a host of 'great opportunities', why? Because they are oblivious to the fact of when the opportunity has presented itself. I was such a person many, many years ago. A young woman going through life, excited and full of energy of what life had to offer. Wanting to experience most things but without thought, clarity or purpose to it. I was just going through the motions, like most people. Working a 9 - 5,(in reality more 9 - 8 most days!), paying my mortgage, bills and car payments. You see, I wanted to have a certain standard of life, which to me meant more money, therefore I had to find a way to climb the career ladder to get more money, and when I had more money I spent more money.

Now along the way, many opportunities presented themselves to me, but I didn't see them at the time. I was not looking out for them. Not until I had missed one or two crucial opportunities and these were pretty big ones, did I look back at my short working life to see if there were any more that I had missed, and sure enough there were plenty. At this point, I had begun my road of 'self development' starting out with Dale Carnegie - 'How to Win Friends and Influence People', before progressing on to other authors and books which helped to change my attitude mentally, changed my outlook and philosophy on life totally, that only then did opportunties them started to present themselves to me.

The important thing is to recognise when you are being presented with an opportunity. Sometimes it is pretty obvious when one is presented, sometimes not so obvious. What I recognised for me was that sometimes in the face of adversity, great opportunities arose, because I was actively seeking them!

Now, most people myself included, when you are in the midst of adversity, sometimes you get overwhelmed and cannot see the 'woods for the trees', and tend to 'pity' yourself. But, if you look to those moments and look past the situation, you may see a great opportunity present itself to you. You see, it is about remaining positive and focussed, yes there are times we do come up against tight situations and challenges, but working through the solutions can manifest opportunities that would never have presented themselves otherwise.

Sometimes, opportunities arise as if out of 'thin air'. You have to be ready for those. You need to act quickly in some cases as it may be a limited opportunity and to get the most out of it, you need to make quick decisions and act. I have been in a few of those situations too, sometimes I am able to act, most times not.

Life is a funny old game to play, and it is also very short. Opportunties great and small exist around us every day, we have just got to start looking for them, and where possible act on them, the rewards are priceless.
