Freaky Friday!

Have you seen the movie "Freaky Friday"?

In the story a mom and her teenage daughter find their
personalities have switched places (on a Friday).

The mom (in her daughter's body) has to to go back to
high school, and the daughter (in her mom's body) has
to spend the day at work in corporate America.

It's a funny movie, but it got me thinking about
attracting wealth and abundance.

Specifically, what would happen if a self-made
millionaire and "poor" person switched places?

Imagine - a person who's been struggling with money
wakes up one day in the same financial situation
- mountains of debt, overdue bills, dead end job - but
now there's a new brain in charge.

A wealthy brain. The brain of a person who see's the
world from a rich person's point of view.

You can probably see where this is going.

The poor person (now suddenly "rich") would be partying
and living out all their fantasies and burning through
cash at an astonishing rate.

The rich person (now in the poor person's body) would
be focused on how to become wealthy again.

They would wake up in the morning thinking like a rich
person, take rich person actions, manage their tiny
bank account like a rich person - and very soon the
money would be flowing.

Their "wealthy thinking" would immediately kick in.

What does this have to do with your financial picture?

Two things:

1 - Money does not make you rich. Give money to a
person with a "poor" mindset and in a short time
they'll be broke (Some experts say that 70% of lottery
winners are broke again within 2 years).

2 - If you want to achieve the wealth and prosperity
you dream about, it's not going to happen with the
same level of thinking you're at now.

You may already be working on this. Setting goals,
doing affirmations, working with the law of attraction.

But what if instead of spending months or years slowly
building your "wealthy mindset" you could quickly "wake
up" the wealthy genius already inside of you?

What if tomorrow you were suddenly able to
think and act and attract money like a self-made
millionaire?

Check this out

People who struggle often think MONEY is what makes you
rich.

The fact is, your situation or the amount of
money in the bank has nothing to do with how wealthy
you'll become.

A self-made millionaire in ANY situation can turn it
around and become wealthy again.

If you want to start thinking like a millionaire and
quickly attracting more money into your life, then
please check this out:

It's no secret that rich think differently.

The biggest gift you can give yourself is to activate
your own wealthy thinking.

And now it'e easier than ever to do:

Freaky Friday has a happy ending.

towards creating your own happy ending - a life
surrounded by love, wealth and happiness.

Goals = Frustration

If you're reading this you probably have big dreams. Mine is to the left of this post, a luxury villa in Portugal of the Silver Coast!

You want to squeeze every drop out of life - live in a
way that makes the world a better place - experience
what never-ending prosperity, independence and freedom
REALLY feel like.

And yet...how many dreams have you had - how many
important goals have you set - that just haven't
happened?

Does it frustrate you? Make you sad?

Maybe even a little angry because you've worked so hard
- on yourself - and you still haven't broken through?

Well, it's not your fault. Turns out something has been
stopping your dreams, goals and manifestations dead in
their tracks.

But what if there was a way you could reach every
single goal you set - for the rest of your life?

I know - it sounds crazy.

Except... there's a man who's figured out how to do
exactly that - to give you a life filled with dreams
that actually come true.

I think you need to read up on this

This is unlike anything I've ever seen.

If you've ever wondered WHY some people seem to
manifest everything from money to cars to radiant
health to fascinating careers and passionate
romance..seemingly without effort...

While others work and work and struggle and focus and
meditate and "affirm" and bang their head against the
law of attraction until they're exhausted - and still
struggle to pay all their bills...

The answer is here:

Get Anything Fast
I love this  and what it means for all of us who
are on a path to a better life.

Goal Setting: How To Set Your Goals

End of Year Reflections

I have been amazed at how quickly this year has gone by. I read somewhere that as we get older the years seem to go by quicker, and that certainly seems true.

I remember starting out this year with my goals, objectives and desires. Having written them down in my journal, periodically through the year I have looked at then, tweaked them were required and ticked off those that had been achieved. Having time to look back at the ones that have not been achieved, I look to why I didn't manage to achieve them. Wasn't I focussed enough to work on them? Did I do enough ACTION to achieve them?

Sometimes LIFE gets in the way and stops us from achieving, but sometimes we need to step back in order to be able to see that. Too often we plough on through these times of adversity or crises called LIFE without really truly checking whether the actions that we are doing or not doing will lead us to our overall goals, dreams and objectives.

So, what are we going to do that will make the difference? That is the question to ask yourself. Only you will have that anwser.

Here's to success for all of you for 2010. Reflect back to the past to learn, and take forward those lessons to the future, for the present just know where you are heading and you will definately get there in good time.

Dreams are the door way to Visualising

Listen to this, when you were a kid, didnt you have big dreams, especially around this time of year... Christmas around the corner, wonder what Sant is going to bring me this year. I have been good for mom and dad, so I should get what I want right.....

We visualised, we told our parents and our friends what we wanted right..

Well let us get back to that stage when we were kids and we really really wanted something badly, whether it was the best dolls house on the market, or the best laptop or radio car or what ever it was for you then. Can you remember how you felt, how every bone in your body felt thinking about your dream present for christmas. Do you remember looking at your dream present every day in the toy section of the catalogue?

As an adult we now call this visualisation - dream boards, wish lists, target, goals, hopes and dreams...

So get back to your childhood and now put down your goals, dreams, hopes and what you want out of life onto your dreamboard, visualise and look at it daily, feel it deep in your bones as how you would feel if you had reached / received it now.

Visualising is great, but you need to have action to achieve............if you have a deep desire you will find a way to action.

Happy Visualising - watch this...

What Are You Willing To Sacrifice?

Five years ago, when I was still working as a nightclub bouncer, I was fortunate enough to be invited to co-host a conference call. I needed about $20,000 to expand my business and I was talking about the things I was doing in an attempt to raise the money. Some of them were downright brutal. My wife suggested we sell her wedding ring. I asked people for money while I was checking IDs at the nightclub. There was no such thing as the word shame. The call host asked me why I was willing to go to such lengths. My explanation was simple: My dream life was so great that I was willing to burn everything I had if it meant I even had a chance of living it. Looking back on that attitude it seems a bit Kamikaze but I have a lot more to lose now. That conviction is what allowed me to make the tough sacrifices: the time, the money, and the risk. It allowed me to find money for my business when I was borrowing money for baby formula.

Now I live the life of my dreams. In fact, I live the life of most people’s dreams.

The funny thing is people that people think I am an extreme. A fluke. I disagree. A new millionaire is being made every day in America because of the internet. Anybody can tap into its power. The sad thing is that most people think it is too much of a sacrifice. The sacrifice I am talking about is the time it takes to educate themselves. It might take as long as five years to make it big.

Or….here is another option.

The average salary in the National Football League is $740,000. Now I know what you’re thinking. I don’t want to play football but just follow me for a second. Imagine that football was the only thing you were good at. Imagine you devoted your whole life to being the best.

Your odds of making it to the NFL are 1 in 11.,235. Assuming you do make it in, the average career lasts 2.7 years. Once your ridiculously short career is over you have this awesome fact to contest with:

The average NFL player lives TWENTY YEARS LESS than the average human. You read that right. For the glory of 2.7 years and 2 million dollars you get to live 20 years less. Not to mention that money has to last you the rest of your life.

How does that glamourous option look now?

Let’s go back to option A. You sacrifice a couple years at most. You find a niche that you can get good at. You make money for the rest of your life because your finances are based on your brain and not your body. You live wherever you like because the internet is totally portable. You create your own brand and sell whatever you like whenever you want. You isolate yourself from any recession because the internet keeps growing.

So what is holding you back from your dreams? Is it you or the “perceived challenges.” If you answered “perceived challenges” it may be time to rethink the quality of your dreams.

To your success,

Aaron Parkinson

Tips to help your creativity

These are some handy tips I have gleaned through re-reading The Magic of Thinking Big by David J Schwartz.

Take 10 minutes at the beginning of each day and ask yourself the following: You will need paper and pen to note any thoughts down.
1. How can I do a better job today? – list down all the thoughts that come to mind
2. Ask yourself, what can I do today to encourage my colleagues
3. What special favour can I do for my clients / customers
4. What can I do to improve my personal efficiency today

This is so simple an exercise to do, and it really does help you to focus on the tasks to hand on a daily basis.

In his book David Schwartz talks about having a self improvement plan. What is this you say. Well, by asking the questions above and blitzing out the ideas comes up with a plan that you can effectively put into place during that week, and over time if monitored or reviewed will show practical improvements and results.

Be more receptive to ideas given to you by other colleagues, co-workers, clients. Get rid of the ‘can’t work’ ‘not the way it is done’ attitude. Be more open as to how it can be done, expanding on the thoughts and ideas to create more positive ideas and possibly solutions.

You can Be and Do Whatever You Put Your Mind To Do

I have been a fan of Anthony Robbins for a number of years. I loved his personal story of how he overcame adversity and turned his life around. I admire his love to helping others to succeed, his humbleness and the fact he has never forgotten where he came from.

I regularly listen to his CD set GIANT STEPS, of which there is also a book of the same title. His speeches are so inspiring and motivational, I have always wanted to see him at an event.

Well, about two years ago I got the chance to see him in person. I really could not afford going to the event, but worked hard at my business to build the additional income required to purchase my ticket and hotel room. I was on my way!
I went to a Anthony Robbins event at the Excel Centre in London. It was a four day event. I didn't know what to expect when I got there, but it was such an emotional event for me. I met so many people whom I knew personally before, and also met many new friends some of which I still keep in touch with.

I learnt alot about myself during those four days, it was a really intense programme. As part of that programme on DAY ONE, we all had to walk across hot coals. The fear and trepidation that came across me when the actual time came was awesome, but the emotion and the motivation from others around me gave me the confidence to step out on the white hot coals and walk 40 feet across the coals without getting burnt.

What did this tell me about myself? If you think it you can do it!

Quick Goal Setting Tips

Found these great tips on line for goal setting, thought you could use them....
You can subscribe to their site by clicking here

1. Make goals meaningful. Goal setting for the sake of goal setting almost always ends in disappointment. Goal setting is simply a tool to use in achieving a favorable outcome -- what some people call a "Dream."

2. Use positive language and the present tense when setting a goal. It is better to say "I weigh a healthy, trim and fit 185 pounds" than "I want to lose 20 pounds."

3. Always put your goals in writing. Every expert agrees that setting a goal without putting it in writing drastically reduces your chances of success.

4. Goal setting should take place in every area of your life, including Health, Relationships, Spiritual, Career and Financial.

5. Setting Life Goals will add dimension, excitement and texture to your life.

6. Failure doesn't always mean that you did something wrong in your goal setting or implementation. It may just mean that the time you allotted for success wasn't adequate. A thorough review process should be undertaken before setting the goal again.

Activities for Achieving Goals

Have you always wanted to know why some people consistently hit their goals and targets while others don't or can't seem to? Here are some activities which if actioned on a regular consistent basis can help change your life and attitude.

Jim Rohn, the great philospher once said "Life is influenced by how we feel. What you know is where you will arrive" and another great quote by Jim Rohn which says it all for me "Direction determines Destination".

Value of Your Sight

Today I had to visit the Opticians to perform a regular routine eye examination. I had to undergo some extensive tests after the optician had taken my eye pressures and found them to be a little on the high side. One reason for this he mentioned was the possibility of my developing glaucoma at a later stage in my life.

It just made me think about all the things I am currently grateful for by having my sight, and all the things I need to do with my life with sight. Not that a life without sight would stop me from achieving what I set to achieve, I may just have to get there another way, but I will get there.

Having sight is important, so is having a vision. Having a vision does not need sight, having vision is making something you want so real in your mind, you can see it visually, mentally and feel it physically. You can feel the emotions, touch, smells that your vision arouses in you. Imagine if you were without sight how much more those visions would mean to you, how much more driven you would be to achieve.

Whilst life with sight is for most of us a given, for the few it is precious and for the ones who are born totally blind it is a sense that has not been experience, but one that is not lost as the others take over to cover the loss of sight, your mind and imagination takes over to bring you that experience of what it would be like to 'see' the visions you have in your head.

So today I figured, live my life with a vision of a blind person, so that my dreams, my goals are so real and clear in my mind and that I carry them with me every single day as if they were my only way of 'seeing' my future with sight....

To your personal growth and success!

What is your Dream?

Daily Blog thoughts....

How many of us forget our childhood dreams, or dreams we had as young adults in our teenage years, or early twenties? How soon those dreams are forgotten when LIFE gets in the way.

Don't wait for life to pass you by before you begin to dream again. Dream now, take Action NOW and persist ALWAYS, you will get there if these actions are taken persistenly and consitently.

Visualise your dreams daily. Meditate on them if you must.... etch them into your MIND.

Don't forget your dreams, and don't wash them away or brush them aside, keep them in the forefront of your mind.

Make a dream board, take pictures cut out pictures of what you want, put images of what you wish to achieve all onto a dreamboard and hang this in front of where you work or in your living room, kitchen, your bedroom wall. Everywhere you look have a picture of a dream in front of you....

What is my dream? Here is one of them!

Daily Visualisation, Manifesting your Goals

Everyone has goals and dreams, but not everyone follows them through.
Life gets in the way, throws out untimely events to put you off track. Thats why it is really important to have some ME time on a daily basis. Spend 15 minutes a day first thing in the morning is ideal and possibly last thing at night. Just taking time out to focus on your dreams and goals can set you up for a great focussed day.

Whe you think about your goals or dreams you need to be specific, the more details better. What is the purpose, and what is it that you really want to achieve.
Make your goals SMART.

Specific - Describe to the infinite level of what it is you want to achieve, if you dont get this right you wont achieve the right thing.

Measurable - how will you know you have achieved your goal? map out some markers so you will now you are moving in the right direction

Attatainable - make sure it is realistic and in reach.

Reasonable - you want to ensure it is not too outlandish and unreasonable for you to achieve.

Timely - put a date and time if you can to each goal or dream, this will help you to focus and make this a reality.

Visualise your goal or dream. What day is it?, what time of day? who is around you? what are you doing? what things can you hear and smell around you? visualise it so you can imagine you are already living that dream or goal. Feel as if you are there.

I want you to do something today, get your goals into focus, take action begin to visualise each and every day.... until they become your second reality, have this vision and focus will help you get nearer to the end result, why? because you will be tied to your goal or dream.

I heard this quote today and felt it was so pertinent to many of us:
"All my life I wanted to be someone, I guess I should have been more specific"

Thought for the day!

Sunday 26th April. Day of Rest for Many.
As it is the last Sunday of the Month, I usually take time to reflect on the past month and look at what I have actually achieved in that time.

I find that the year can pass through very quickly and sometimes we look back at the end of the 12 months and say - what did I do last year? I had a difficult year in my life and felt frustrated and upset with myself as when I looked back to see what I had achieved, it was little or nothing. I hadnt set myself any goals for that year, and therefore didnt achieve anything worthwhile. I vowed then, that I would set myself yearly, 3 yearly, 5 yearly goals and some longer term ones, but more importantly set myself weekly and monthly goals and to spend time to reflect at the end of each month to look back and note what I had or had not achieved.

I have been doing this for the past three years and it has helped me move both my personal life and my business forward to no end, and for that I am grateful. It has helped put back some discipline into my life and work ethos.

So today I will be reflecting back on the past month of April and noting down what I have achieved, and what I could have done better, and incorporate these into further plans for the month of MAY.
